Use of Information
a. Personal and Account Information. The personal information and account information we collect is used to provide support to our customers. We may study this information to determine our customers’ needs and to promote certain products and services or additional support that we believe would be of interest to specific customers. We may also generate non-identifying and aggregate profiles from the information provided by customers, such as, the total number of customers in a given category. This aggregated and non-identifying information may be used to determine which advertisements will appear on our website and in connection with the Services. Spry may also use the personal information or account information you provide to contact you about other products or services that we think may be of interest to you.
b. User Content. We may analyze User Content and contact you with job opportunities and related products or services that we think may be of interest to you.
c. Log Files. We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer our website and servers, track access, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
d. Customer Surveys. We may use the contact and other information provided to follow up with customers to help resolve issues that the customer identified in their survey response or otherwise. For example, Spry may contact customers based on their survey answers or to highlight certain changes we made in response to customer feedback.
e. Promotional Emails. We may use the email you provide to contact you about our other products and services. You can opt-out of receiving these emails by using the unsubscribe link in any promotional email that you receive or as otherwise provided in the communication.
Disclosure of Information
a. Service Providers. We may transfer (or otherwise make available) your personal information or account information to third parties that help us provide the Services or that provide services on our behalf. Your personal information or account information may be maintained and processed by third party service providers in the United States or in other jurisdictions.
b. Online Advertisements. In some instances, we use this aggregated and non-identifying information to deliver tailored advertisements.

If Spry is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, you will be notified via email or through a prominent notice on our website of any change in ownership or uses of your personal information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personal information.
Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information from you to provide the Services and for the purposes described below. The information may be provided by you voluntarily or we may automatically collect the information through communications, profiles, or cookies.
a. Account and Personal Information. The personal information we collect depends on the information you provide through the Services and the type of service, support, or sales inquiry, and typically includes your name, address, telephone number, email address, employment history, education, and account status.
b. User Content. We may collect User Content, as defined in Spry’s Terms of Service, including any text, photos, videos, and other content that you input, store or share through the Services, including for example, your contact information, employment history, education, and other information you may include in the resume or profile you create or post using the Services.
d. Customer Surveys. We may periodically conduct customer surveys. Participation in our customer surveys is voluntary. However, we encourage users to participate in our surveys because they provide us with important information that helps us improve the types of services we offer and how we provide them to you. Your personal information, including your name, address, and phone number, if provided, will remain confidential, even if the survey is conducted by a third party service provider on our behalf.
a. Correcting/Updating Personal Information. If your information changes or is incorrect, you may update or correct such information by logging in and clicking on the “My Account” or by emailing us at contact@SpryResumeBuilder.com.
b. Data Retention. We will retain your information for as long as needed to provide you with the Services or as is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
c. Opt Out. By default, you may receive system updates, Spry newsletters and other mailings. You are able to opt out of newsletters and mailings by using the unsubscribe link in any promotional email or as otherwise provided in the communication. Please note that customers may not opt out of receiving important system notifications or emails about their accounts.
d. Public Forums. Please remember that any information you may disclose or post on public areas of our websites or the Internet, becomes public information. You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information in these public areas. To request the removal of your personal information from our community forums or testimonials, contact us at contact@SpryResumeBuilder.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know why we are unable to do so.
Spry uses technical security measures to prevent the loss, misuse, altering or unauthorized disclosure of information under our control. Such security measures include but are not limited to: physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. All sensitive information is collected on a secure server. When we ask customers to provide financial information (such as credit card numbers) that data is protected using Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) technology. We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Third Party Websites
Notice to California Residents
California Civil Code Section 1798.83, known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our customers who are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of what personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests may be made only once a year and are free of charge. To make such a request, please contact us at contact@SpryResumeBuilder.com. For all requests, you must put the statement "Your California Privacy Rights" in the body of your request, as well as your name, street address, city, state, and zip code. In the body of your request, please provide enough information for us to determine if this applies to you. You need to attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for our response. Please note that we will not accept requests via the telephone, mail, or by facsimile, and we are not responsible for notices that are not labeled or sent properly, or that do not have complete information.
California Business & Professions Code Section 22575 (b) provides that California residents are entitled to know how Provider responds to "Do Not Track" browser settings. We do not currently take actions to respond to Do Not Track signals because a uniform technological standard has not yet been adopted. We continue to review new technologies and may adopt a standard once one is universally accepted.
This website is not directed towards children and we do not seek to collect any personal information from children. If we become aware that personal information from a child under the age of thirteen (13) has been collected, we will use all reasonable efforts to delete such information from our database.
